Message from the Chief Executive Officer
In 2014, Utilities and Industries underwent some major implementations throughout the Company and it’s different departments. Some of the transitions that happened this past year was the purchase of a larger Environmental Chamber Unit to accommodate the high demand of our clients needs and the purchase of a trailer for easier shipments of unloading and loading meters for our clients and employees. In addition to purchasing, we also had an increase of inventory in our warehousing department and made the addition of a full second shift to speed up production due to the increase of business for quicker turn around time for our clients. Finally, we also revamped our website and marketing materials to create a larger brand of our Company. With all of these changes, it has been an exciting and busy year!
We are pleased with the outcome of 2014 and we are excited to see what the year 2015 will bring us!

Plant Shutdown
Throughout the year we like to do a plant shutdown for multiple purposes.
The main purposes for the plant shutdown is to make sure our equipment is up to standards for safety purposes and to count our inventory for the year 2014.
We will have our second plant shutdown of the year. The plant will be closed after 11:30 a.m. on December 23rd. After this date, we will be closed for the remainder of December and first week of January. The dates we are closed are December 24th until January 2nd. The plant will re-open on January 5, 2015.
Holiday Party
On December 23rd of this month, Utilities and Industries will be celebrating the holidays at their annual Company Holiday Party with their sister company Brookville Glove.
We will be enjoying each other’s company, some great fun and a great meal prepared by The Bellamauro in Reynoldsville, PA. How is your company celebrating the holidays?

Employee of the Month
Every month we like to reward our employees for their hard-work and dedication to the Company.
Utilities and Industries nominated Micky Rinaldi as Employee of the Month, for November 2014.
Micky has been rewarded for her excellent attendance. She goes the extra mile to get meters down the line because she cares if we meet our daily production goals.
Congratulations, Micky! Keep up the great work!

Message from the Chief Executive Officer
In these last couple of months we have had some major changes happening, for the better that is! We would like to announce, due to increased production, we have added a second shift to further meet our customers needs. Utilities and Industries added another shift to move production along and have a quicker turn around time.
I would also like to give a shout out to the Utilities and Industries Employees for meeting goal 3 out of 4 weeks for the month of October! They are doing a tremendous job and all their hard-work has truly made a major impact! Keep up the great work everyone!
Utilities and Industries is extremely pleased with the new outcome and we are looking forward to seeing what 2015 will bring us.

Facebook Giveaway
Utilities and Industries has decided to run another Facebook Giveaway for our loyal fans. The contest will run from November 3, 2014 until November 
17, 2014. The winner of the contest will be announced on Wednesday, November 19th.
This month, we will be running a photo caption contest on the Company’s Facebook page. The photo pictured on the right is our photo you will have the pleasure of captioning! Here is how the contest works. Once the picture has been posted to the Facebook page, LIKE and COMMENT on the photo. The person who comes up with the funniest and most original caption will be chosen as the winner. The winner will receive a Utilities and Industries lunch box filled with goodies!
Once the winner has be chosen, we will post the winner’s name to our Company’s Facebook Wall. Keep checking back to the page to see if your name has been announced. Again, the winner will be announced on Wednesday, November 19th.
To receive your prize, you will need to personal message Utilities and Industries Facebook Page saying you were the winner and we can discuss further information. The reason for personal messaging is due to Facebook privacy, we are not able to tag you if you have won. So, this will be the only way to claim your prize.
We will give you three days to claim your prize, if not claimed in the time frame we will have to draw another name.

Update on Sister Company Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
Over the last three months, our Sister Company, Brookville Glove hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
The company wanted a way to contribute and give back to the community. In effort, they created a pink work glove with the pink ribbon logo that their customers and the general public could use and wear everyday for the month of October in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Throughout the course of the campaign, Brookville Glove had 8 companies, that are current customers, purchase multiple dozen of gloves for their employees to wear for the entire month of October to show their support. In addition to those companies the company sold to the general public and companies in surrounding areas.
By the end of October they sold over 80 dozen of the Gurly Bear Gloves. With the campaign and sales, Hahne Regional Cancer Center in DuBois received a total donation of $1,019.07 from Brookville Glove.
Brookville Glove is extremely thrilled how the campaign transformed and are looking forward to continuing the campaign in years to come.

Employee of the Month
Every month we like to reward our employees for their hard-work and dedication to the company.
Utilities and Industries nominated Brianna Dawson as the Employee of the Month, for October 2014.
Brianna was rewarded for learning every job we asked her to learn very quickly. She takes pride in her work and does every job to her fullest potential. Brianna does her job and doesn’t worry about what other people are doing.
Congratulations, Brianna! Keep up the great work!
Boss’s Day Celebration
On October 16, 2014 Utilities and Industries and Brookville Glove celebrated National Boss’s Day to honor the Chief Executive Officer, Brian Dougherty.
During National Boss’s Day both companies put together a lunch for the CEO to show their appreciation.
In addition to the lunch, the employees surprised Brain with a Caricature Drawing of himself along with well messages on the frame holding the drawing. By his reaction, we think he definitely loved the gift!
All in all, the CEO had a wonderful Boss’s Day!
