Message From the CEO

We are very excited to announce that we will be attending the Southern Gas Association Operating Conference. The conference will take place July 20th - July 22nd in Nashville, Tennessee at the Omni Hotel and Conference Center. We feel that this will be a great conference to attend to showcase and explain Utilities & Industries services. Not only are we excited to promote our re-manufacturing and fabricating services, we are also excited to meet all the exhibitors and attendees. We hope this conference allows us to expand our business and make new customer partnerships.
In addition to the Southern Gas Association Conference, we will be launching a Direct Mail Campaign. The campaign will target potential companies and will explain our special and unique services that we can supply. We want new companies to be aware of what Utilities & Industries has to offer them, we plan on achieving this awareness through a detailed letter, catalog, and brochure. Utilities & Industries is very excited about the upcoming events.

More About the SGA Operating Conference

Utilities & Industries announces that they will be attending the Southern Gas Association Conference. The conference will be held on July 20th, July 21st, and July 22nd in Nashville, TN. Utilities and Industries will have an 8 x10 booth space where they will showcase all there services, displays of our equipment and technology for natural gas measurement and regulation and pamphlets of information about our products and services. Also, you do not want to miss out on our giveaways and prizes we will be raffling off during the show! Our booth number is 229. The hours of the show are 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on July 20th, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on July 21st, and 8:00am to 12:00pm on July 22nd. For more information on the conference go to www.southerngas.org.

Plant Shutdown

Utilities & Industries will be having a plant shut down June 29th-July 3rd. During this time Utilities & Industries management staff will be doing preventative maintenance and facility updates. Safety and quality is our number one priority and we want the best environment for our staff.

Employee of the Month

Here at Utilities & Industries we like to reward our employees for there handwork and dedication.
For the month of May we are honoring Stephanie Stuart. Stephanie does her job to the fullest potential and is concerned about the production line hitting goals. Keep up the good work Stephanie!

Message from the CEO

This month Utilities & Industries is very excited to welcome Emily Solnosky as the new Marketing Coordinator. Emily was the Customer Service Representative for our sister company Brookville Glove. We feel she is an excellent fit for the position, and we are very excited to see what the future holds.

We also have been installing security cameras to assure that our facility is safe as possible. The cameras are to make sure our employees are using caution and to monitor production efficiency. At Utilities & Industries our main priority is safety and assuring that our customers are receiving their product in a timely manner.

Sister Co. Heading to Las Vegas

Brookville Glove will be arriving in Las Vegas May 4th to set up the booth space for the National Hardware Show! The Hardware Show is held at the Las Vegas Convention Center beginning on May 5th and ending on May 7th. If you’re attending the show be sure to stop by their Booth #36091 in the Made in the USA Section on the second floor. In addition to their booth space, Brookville Glove have also reserved a spot to showcase their Burly Bear, 69K in the Made in the USA Product Display! New Cold Box Chamber

Utilities and Industries has updated and expanded the square footage of their Cold Box Chamber. The company wanted a larger cold box to accommodate their clients needs. At the end of 2014 into 2015, Utilities and Industries had seen a higher demand for cold box testing and wanted to enlarge the capacity to fit the clients needs for faster turn around time.
The dimensions of the old cold box chamber was, 11 ft.X 9 ft. X 7ft. where the dimensions for the new cold box chamber is 21 ft. X 11ft. x9ft. This makes a huge difference!

U&I Celebrated Administrative Professionals Day & Earth Day

On April 22, 2015 Utilities & Industries celebrated Administrative Professionals Day by holding a luncheon in honor of their Administrative Assistant Ruth Heckman. Ruth also received flowers from the company in her honor. Utilities & Industries also celebrated Earth Day by implementing more ways to go green.

Every month we like to reward our employees for their hard-work and dedication to the Company.
Utilities and Industries nominated Mark Marshall as Employee of the Month, for April 2015.
Mark has been rewarded in appreciation of his work. Mark goes above and beyond helping customers and helps wherever he is needed.
