Message from the CEO
In recent months Utilities and Industries has seen an increase of services needed for our customers to warehouse their gas meters for a fraction of the cost. In cognition, we wanted to make the space readily available and provide the time convenience for our customers when they need this certain type of service.
Due to the demanding increase of warehousing inventory, Utilities and Industries wanted to expand the space to provide our current customers and future customers the convenience of warehousing their inventory of gas meters. In return, we will have plenty of space to warehouse many gas meters in the future.
In addition to the warehousing addition, Utilities and Industries would like to welcome our newly found position, Plant Supervisor, Ashley to the team! Attributable to the increase of business and inventory, our Production Manager needed the extra help to focus amongst other responsibilities and make sure things are running smoothly on a daily basis.
40 Day Challenge Winner
After 40 days of dieting and exercising and our weekly weigh-ins, we have finally came to a winner! We would like to congratulate Heather Himes for winning our 40 Day Challenge. Heather showed the most improvement throughout the 40 days and overall had lost the most percentage of body weight. Due to Heather winning the challenge, she was rewarded $100 as promised!
We are so pleased how this turned out and we are planning to implement this challenge more often. Overall, everyone who participated showed ambition, confidence and the eager to work towards their goal. For that, we congratulate everyone on their improvements!

Expanding our services to the south and west is something we would like to focus on for the year 2015 and we feel the two gas shows in the upcoming months will help us achieve our goal.
We have been working hard and have already begun preparation with marketing, signage and exposure. Be sure you’re staying tuned to see what our company has come up with next month!

40 Day Challenge
Here at Utilities and Industries, we started a 40 Day Challenge to render healthy eating habits and get exercising into our everyday routine. To motivate our employees and co-workers we decided to make the healthy habits frenzy into a challenge. On February 18, 2015 was the beginning of the challenge and our first Company weigh in. The person who loses the most weight and body fat in the 40 days will win $100. We’re excited to see everyone so motivated to get healthy and we cannot wait to see everyone’s transformation. The challenge we implemented is not mandatory, but encouraged to get a lot of people involved.

Employee of the Month
Every month we like to reward our employees for their hard-work and dedication to the Company. Utilities and Industries nominated Rick Siple as Employee of the Month, for February 2015.
Rick has been rewarded in appreciation of his work. He performs to the best of his ability and performs other tasks not related to his job title to make sure the work gets done! Rick has also been a great help with minor maintenance repairs.
